# Case Search

Case Search is the application's landing screen (`frmCaseSearch.aspx`). Users search for legal cases by SSN, claim number, worker name, policy number, or check number; results display in a grid, and selecting a row establishes claim context and navigates to case-context screens via the side menu.

## Entry conditions
- Application entry point: `Default.aspx` auto-redirects here on load (verified: `Legal/Default.aspx.vb:20`).
- Also reachable at any time from the `SAIFMenu` side menu on any other screen.

## API calls

No direct HTTP/WCF calls from the code-behind; search data is retrieved via `clsCaseSearchManager.GetSearchResults()` in the business layer.
